The Split Set is a friction rock bolt, a high-strength steel pipe with a slotted structure. It is gently driven into a hole 1-2mm narrower than its outer diameter. In this way, thanks to the structure of the Split Set, a friction anchor is formed between it and the ground. The friction anchor is provided along the entire length of the bolt by the radial spring force created by the compression of the tube. The implementation of the Split Set is a very simple process and can be done easily by trained personnel. The Split Set should not be driven excessively, it should be firmly placed on the rock so that a slight deformation of the plate is visible.
